Quite busy learning python lately, Only got a little time for smap, added 3 tools to draw point,line,polyton : http://smapshow.appspot.com/
About django, the part I like is the ORM. The part I don't like is that 'mvc' structure similar to struts, and those template looks like JSP. I am not saying it is bad, but ... personally prefer Html + AJAX + JSON for now. A loosely coupled UI should be easier to extend and maintain. Not to mention I am still in love with JAVA.
